Be Safe Around COVID-19
As more people are diagnosed with COVID-19 in Australia, practising good personal hygiene will be critical to help prevent the spread of this disease. It will also be important to clean and disinfect our premises and follow our protocols.
This training guide aims to provide training on cleaning and disinfecting to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in all non-healthcare settings including HOT Cleaning Services. The goal is to increase health and safety awareness for HOT Cleaning Services staff in responding COVID-19 related cleaning.
Safe Work Procedures
The safety principles in this course are intended to highlight basic safety rules for a designated department or area and are an introduction to working safely as part of your initial orientation when working for HOT Cleaning Services.
Practices taught in this lesson may reduce the need to create safe working practices for relatively simple tasks, or for tasks that carry lower risks for injury. They can even serve as a reminder of safety considerations for that particular area or cleaning task. Tasks in the area that are assessed as having a higher risk for injury will have a specific work procedure for you to refer to.
